COD GHOSTS PLAY LIKE A MAN on youtube by elpresador pretty well sums it up. If you've never seen an elpresador video, you'll quickly understand why I just didn't link it here. Not for sensitive ears.

Spawn seemed a little better last night but only played 3 or 4 games.

Yes.

I play on a home theater system and when I hear footsteps coming up behind me (sound coming from the rear speakers) I'll turn around but nobody is there. All of a sudden I'm shot in the back because the guy actually came from the direction I was originally looking. It's like they've got the channels for their sound mix backwards on some, but not all, of the sound effects.

I have had the game for a little while, but I had a family emergency, and I havent been able to play it. I spent about 20 minutes last night playing it, and I got creamed. I think mostly because I dont know the maps at all, I only played two games. It seemed I would walk around for a couple minuted without seeing anyone, then I would get shot from 3 directions without seeing anyone. First game I was 3-9, second game 9-9. But I camped on the second game after going 1-8 to start it off. I hate camping, but what I was sick of getting blasted without seeing who was shooting me.

imo this is the worst cod game ever, the spawning is just trash

Personally I wouldn't call it the worst, but it needs some fixing soon (spawning) or it'll be right up there on the list.

I have a hard time staying interested in it because of the terrible spawning. At this point I doubt I'll bother really trying to prestige and just play here and there for the heck of it.

BTW, the Operations concept in this version is a complete failure. Why can't a person work on any operation they want at any time they want? This entire idea of "tracking" the ones you want to work on so they don't expire in 14 days is ridiculous. Open them all up.

i dont understand that either, i do however like the face that prestiging doesnt make you loose everything, sure you have to use squad points to unlock all the guns and perks again but by then a guy should have plenty to use, for example im on the first prestige and im a level 25 i think and i have over 300 squad points banked up and have the first 6 squad members unlocked.

The spawns are a little messed up, but they are predictable to some extent. There are really only a few spawn areas, if you dont have any "green" dudes in that area with you, make sure you watch your back. Stonehenge or whatever its called may be the worst, the other team will spawn in that top broken down building if you dont keep a team member darn close. That said, you can almost spawn kill them if the whole team backs out of the room a little.

Spawn has gotten better but that's not saying a whole lot considering where it started. Map rotation is pretty bad. Seems like 3 or 4 maps really get pounded on any given night. Players don't seem to vote for maps like they have in games past. Might be indicitive of what everyone thinks of them.

Been playing mostly a single. Seemed like in the past if you won they match, that team would stay intact minus anyone that dropped out. This game is pretty much random each match. Also notice that it continually tries to put you in the same lobby repeatedly when trying to relobby.

Overall I think they are putting in much more effort than Treyarch(pretty much zero) did to FTG. They just started out with a poor design.

      As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…

      I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...

      Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?

      I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.

      Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.

      The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.

      It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.

      We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there,but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
