Electric Motors

If you are talking about trolling motors, hold off on buying something right now. come spring you will see alot for sale as people upgrade to a new motor with the new I pilot link already installed in it verses having to switch out the units. I personally will be keeping my motor but I am planning to pull my current I-pilot out and replace that with the Link. then I will put my original I-pilot up for sale.

I would check CList or the Bay site. Had success buying from either in the past, just make sure you test it prior to purchasing.

Its possible to check places like Fish-Lechtronics as they may have some used ones. From time to time a guy brings something in to be repaired and finds that its half the price or more of a new one. So they leave it there and get new since its of no use to them. Then Fish-lechtronics or some other repair place fixes them for resale.

We have bought refurbished/reconditioned before,we looked at them from Minn-kota,Cabela's,The Bobber Shop.If you Google it you will find quite a few places.Over the years we have bought a couple & no problems. We did return one only because it was not the same thing that was advertized.I believe The Bobber Shop sells a lot of them as they are in Mankato too.
