trailer tires

Looking for a place around buffalo mn to get some trailer tires for my boat. titan 155/80d13 are the current tires on it. does anyone know of anywhere around the area to get new ones?

Good luck finding them, i could not find 165 80 13's and had to settle for 155's.. I know its not close to you but the only place i found them was hallberg marine in wyoming, have to buy them on wheels $95 a pop.

If Rigid Hitch has them, they will currier them up to hwy 55 rental in Hamel. At they did for me when I ordered a $20 part from them.

I have found sometimes it makes more sense to go buy a tires already mounted on a new rim. I do not know if that will be the case in your situation but it might be worth looking at.

I don't want to hijack your thread but could you put bigger tires on? Seems to me that 13's are prone to blowout if you spend a lot of time on a highway. I could be wrong.

13's are fine on the highway! I tow a pontoon 1800 miles round trip at least twice a year on a dual axle trailer with 13 inch tires.

Northland Tool is a good place for some cheap ones. If you want Goodyear's I would order through a tire shop. Might take a while and cost more, but they will be the best tires you can get.

+1 best advice given. I've thrown away lots of cheap tires that came on trailers or bargain places that didn't wear right or blew out.. I finally asked my mechanic what all the businesses ( like landscape places) buy for their trailers. He said good year. Cost a littllittle more but man they have lasted. All of a sudden you're not trying to fix the trailer/axle. It mysteriously fixed itself. :-).
