Last year I caught a big northern using an x-rap in perch color.

I would like to use this for northern or walleye what colors are successful?

My most succesful color... hot pink

Hot Head is a good one on stained waters IMO

If its got chartuse in it I would use it for pike or eyes

The perch color does me well, but I don't have a color in my box that outperforms the others substantially, and I don't have a color that doesn't catch northerns.

I don't fish walleyes much, but get them accidentally on occasion. I think my last walleye was on a small perch x-rap.

X-Raps are great lures. Have caught many walleyes casting with jerk retrieve often the largest of our annual post opener weekend. In addition that is what we troll on Leech in fall for walleye and we do better then with shad raps. I caught two Muskies after dark last year on Leech with them, the second one destroyed the lure. When trolled in fall 2 miles an hour you would think they were too tight in movement but they are effective.

White/Orange and Black/Gold/Orange are my favorite colors.

Yesterday it didn't matter what color...Northerns or bass would bite, walleyes would not. 30-40 fow, any color any size.

I've had really good success with the blue silver and the silver in clear water
