Good advise. A guy should NEVER have to buy rhubarb. But I had an itch and I love a good rhubard cake. Great father/daughter project tomorrow while the smoker's kickin out some awesome scents.

ya, that rubarb is expensive here at the cub store. i think it was 2.99 lb. last time i looked. heck, i would go ahead and plant one or two. going to get some more ribs today as well. hope they dont run out. this time they said no rainchecks. Labor Day is their next sale [i hope]. good luck.

After smoking a few racks I like them. A little more crud at the tips to chew around but dang good.

i see that Walmart has regular spareribs on sale this week at 1.98 [whole slab] and cub has bone-in rib steaks at 6.99 lb. good luck.

Smoked some ribs a couple weeks back on a gas grill, tasted fantastic. Convinced I need to eventually get a smoker. Keep posts coming on the sales. Lots of good info on the cooking and recipe thread for sure!
