If I don't pre-order Black Ops 2, do not I not get access to Nuketown 2025 and the double XP? I feel that it would be kind of stupid to only allow the people that pre-order the game to get a specific map because there would only be a handful of people playing the map at any given time during the day...

id be willing to bet a c-note more people will pre order than not, remember the first black ops was one of the largest entertainment releases of all time.

I'm still debating whether or not to get this game. However, I did see that Best Buy has a 100% trade in special going right now. I'm going to take a few games down there tomorrow evening to cash in on that. Borderlands 2 is worth $36, and MW3 is worth $30. That's probably double what you can get at places like Gamestop. Since I haven't touched MW3 in about 8 months, that game is getting the heave-ho.

I highly recommend using Best Buy's trade in deal if you want a new game. I brought NHL 13 in yesterday and the normal trade in is $16 but it's doubled so I got $32 for just that one game. I also traded in a couple other games that are horrible and I won't play again and walked out with Halo 4.

Remember when you used to just be able to buy a game and then later on you could purchase a new map or two? I guess those days are over...geez this is ridiculous...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Nuketown Zombies mode will not be included with pre-orders of the standard game, Activision clarified today.

Looking to clear up any confusion, Call of Duty community manager Liam Ashley confirmed on Twitter that pre-ordering the standard game will only give you access to the Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map — NOT the Nuketown Zombies mode that was revealed as part of the Collector Editions of Black Ops 2.

Available only as part of the Collector Editions — Care Package, Hardened Edition, or Digital Deluxe Edition — Nuketown Zombies will have you defend against hordes of zombies on the beloved 1960s nuclear neighborhood.

The standard Nuketown 2025 map, included when just pre-ordering the regular standalone game, will only allow you to play the standard multiplayer gameplay on a re-imagined version of the 1960s neighborhood

Ok, so from what I gather you don't need to necessarily preorder to get Nuke Town map. The codes will ship with ALL launch shipment games. So if you buy it the first or second day, you will most likely get a code with your game....pre order or not.

i wondered about that... sounded dumb to me. If you are a wait at best buy at midnight COD nut, you should be rewarded.

DTro, when I catch your avatar pic out of the corner of my eye, I always think its Reinhard... He has a similar a pic with a black jacket and big walleye... Then I'm like, "Reinhard plays Call of Duty? No way!"

I don't think they will segregate the nuke town and no nuke town players for very long, I don't think it will be log and everyone has 2025, I think the way they did mw3 was pretty lame by giving elite players early access if you friends you played with didn't have elite you were stuck on the original maps and for me I'd rather play with a group of guys I know that a bunch of new maps.
