I was out this afternoon ----ice about 12-14 inches up this way but it it is changing you can tell when you drill the holes. Access still in good shape

Ours is done. I was done a couple weeks ago. The good news is my open water season has been good the last two weeks

Last Sunday was my last day. I caught my limit of sunnies, caught some crappies, so I figured Id leave on a good note. Ill miss it for sure, but am ready to hit the lake.

Hopefully "my" ice will last a couple more days. it sure is nice fishing in 65 degree sunshine weather in a T-shirt catching nice crappies. One of my best catches yet last evening but the next few days will be hard on the ice!!

Im going to head out Fi/Sat on Fish Lake and hope the shoreline doesnt disintegrate so much I have to swim back in.

My last trip out in the metro was last Sunday. Plenty of ice but the access was a little dicey!!

I'll be out this weekend--hopefully--though I won't do anything foolish. Last year I took a little swim right by shore when the plank I had put across from shore broke through the ice. I won't be making that mistake again.

was out on leech the last couple days...30" once you got out there, but rough at the shore line. went to a couple lakes by park rapids yesterday and today and maybe 15 inches on them...wont be long now...watched one guy drive out today and watched him drop the front end in at the access when he was coming off...dont be dumb..dont drive on lakes anymore!!!!

Ice will be disappearing rather quickly over the next week. I gave up 2 weeks ago unfortunately. I was just talking with my 75 year old neighbor and she doesn't recall a winter like this in her lifetime. Sure is strange.......
