I got myself a new toy

Today I just put a deposit down on a 97 xc 600 sks. it has 1600 miles and after tax title and licence is was $1441.80 i got one hell on a deal on this sled and the track is like brand new with like 2" paddles. now all we need is snow

congrats! check Vermillion or Grand Marais areas if youre dying to try it. I think they may have rideable snow. I cant go now but in 2 weeks I'M GOING SOMEWHERE. Cant stand this

I'm going up the gunflint 1 week from tomorrow. I can't wait anymore. So far I've put on about 20 miles this year all on glare ice lakes.

My buddy and I have the same attitude right now. We are hooking up the trailer and driving until we find rideable snow one way or another!

There was some good snow up by Ely last weekend when I was up there but it's been a pretty warm week.

Trails are in great shape, all groomed and the lake trails are all staked with good ice. Check out the Kabetogama/Ash River area
