1) Not to early so ice gets thick.

2) Just enough for a little powder riding.

3) Not to much to take out too many Deer.

we got 3-4" in Brainerd went for a short and bumpy ride lastnight but sure was fun to open'r up!!! Bring on the next BIG snow storm.

Had mt nehpew up for his annual ice-fishing and sledding weekend, and we got about 70 miles of trail riding in. Was better than I though it would be, but not great. Emily to Crosslake area trails. Felt good though

He also got some good crappie fishing, so success! Need more snow though!

14 of us made a 100 mile trip yesterday, mostly ditch bangin'. It was fun, another foot would be a world of difference and make it possible to go cross country.

Just our little neck of the woods here in NW MN, basically run Hwy 2 towards Bagley, then up to Gonvick and looped around back to Hwy 2 again. It wasn't great but it was the 'fix' we were looking for.

So far I have pulled my sled onto the trailer to bring it home and off the trailer and into the garage. That leaves me at about 1500 miles behind for the year. I'll have to ride 24/7 for a while to make my average of 2000 for the year! Its looking like I may own the Renegade another year

That's always been a pretty nice ride up there. Two years ago we did a North shore ride GTG and hit the Moose Walk trail and rode over to the Trestle inn for lunch, it was a very nice ride. I wouldn't mind hitting it again sometime if others are heading that way.
