ozzie
well I am glad you changed your channel cause I didn't and it was a fun game to watch. Hopefully Webster can have more consistant games like that...Back to .500 and now we get a 4 home games this week Clippers, Blazers, Lakers, and Hornets....maybe we can finally take out the Lakers and get 3 wins out of these 4 home games. I think they will have a hard time beating the Clippers for the third time but who knows. Go Wolves!!
Scott K
It is nice to see the Wolves point spread for tonight, Wolves picked by 3.Looks like were starting to get a little respect. After beating the Blazers the other night, all the TrailBlazer players were venting, saying this was their lowest point, to lose to the Timberwolves at home even. LOL, I guess they havent heard, we arent the Wolves of yesteryear! I think we have surprised a few teams this year, Houston, Sac, Clippers, Dallas. I just hope we can continue our "LUCK" and take care of the Clippers again tonight.
Juan Grande
Love finally broke out of his shooting slump. I would love it if Webster would run with the starting SG job.
Scott K
Love finally broke out of his shooting slump. I would love it if Webster would run with the starting SG job. He had a good game, but I dont think you can expect that out of him even on an irregular basis. If the Wolves dont find trade for a good wingman, I would like to see Martell in the starting line up, and sit Luke down, and have Williams splitting time with Wes on the 3. But I dont think we will see Williams playing 3 at all this year, barring any big injuries. I would like to see these lines out thereRubioWebsterWilliamsLovePekOr on the smaller teams, play Love at center, Williams at the 4, and Wes at the 3 for a defense stopper, Webster at 2, Rubio at point. If we dont find a wing player before the deadline, I think they will bring Lee back from the d league and have him playing 15-20 minutes at 2. schmitty3
Marc Stein seems to be taking the Wolves seriously. He has them ranked 9th in the NBA. Maybe a litle too seriously. http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings
ozzie
I was going to say the "experts" have them rated pretty high on the power rankings, but we know what we currently have...a team that is around a .500 club and is missing a legit 2 guard from being a more serious contender. Martell may have it in him if he get completely healthy and can put his back issues in the past. Even with a 2 guard they still would need at least 1 or 2 more decent players to come off the bench that can score here and there and not look so lazy at times like Beasley did on Saturday!!Malcolm Lee will not see much time if any in the NBA this year unless we are out of the playoff push and there are injuries to deal with. And I don't think the Twolves can surprise teams anymore as the league should know by now that they are a scrappy team that will make you work for a win and if you let them hang around they will beat you. I just love game days....Go Wolves!!!
SledNeck
Martell is the hardest working player on the wolves.Pek is playing sloppy lately

Scott K
The reason they are ranked so high, with a .500 team is we are better then all but a couple teams in the east, and we have been beating the top teams in the West. We have the hardest schedule, and we will get a few easier games later in the season, to gain some momentum and climb in the standings. PierBridge
Martell is the hardest working player on the wolves.Pek is playing sloppy lately Although encouraging I think we may have overeacted a bet hear on Pek.Rubio has really hit the wall.Hopefully JJ can get/stay healthy as he could be the key to any playoff hopes. SledNeck
I like the way Derrick Williams is playing lately. It just seems like he had nerves and was putting too much pressure on himself. Now hes playing like the guy we drafted. I like how firery he gets too. Thats what makes a good ball player. As soon as shooting gets consistant, he'll be a really solid player. YiGGiN4SLoBS
Rubio is like 4-60 from the field since the all star break... If he starts hitting a few shots this could REALLY be a dangerous team. Teams just let him shoot 3's, they dont even try to get a hand in his face
schmitty3
Wow great to get another win from the Clips, but the Wolves did everything they could to lose that game. Whether it was Luke fouling Williams on the three to Martell with the giveaway or Dwill with the foul at the end. They got real lucky the Clippers missed some freethrows. On the bright side K Love was great. He really came up big, to show who the best pf really is. Blake was really getting angry at the end there, and it showed when he tackled Ridnour. Hopefully they take this momentum into the Portland game on Wednesday.
YiGGiN4SLoBS
3-0 against the clips is impressive no matter what team u are this year! K love is workin out like richard simmons right now, what a baller!

dfv87
K Love is just sick right now. I mean he is wanting the ball late and making shots, getting to the line and getting it done. He has such game sense to know when it is his time and when to let it come to him... Rubio is a smart player but yes he needs work on his shot. Funny how he still contributes without being able to shoot... Fun to see a MN team on the rise in something!

Don't forget another dreadful performance from JJ "dead weight" Barea. 0-7 from the field, stupid turnovers, and an inexcusable shot on the last Wolves possession. schmitty3
Don't forget another dreadful performance from JJ "dead weight" Barea. 0-7 from the field, stupid turnovers, and an inexcusable shot on the last Wolves possession. I was actually gonna put that in there too lol. Just forgot I guess. He seems to have an ego out on the court where he has to be one of the best players out there and take more shots than anyone. Wouldn't call him dead weight though. He has been big in a few games. Then again he will have a game the next night like this one. Don't know what he was thinking on that last posession. K Love was hot and working really hard inside, and had position. Instead of giving it to him, he had to be "the man" and drive it right at Love and throw up some wild shot over a 7 footer. YiGGiN4SLoBS
Non of the guards are playing well right now. Rubio cant even make a free throw at the moment, much less an open shot. Ridnhour and Barrea are both hot and cold. One thing I like about this team is that it seems to be a different guy every night that steps up, with the exception of K Love, who is looking like the best power forward in the NBA every night he steps on the court.Another thing I like is the team defense! Its sooooooo much better under Addleman then it was under Rambis and I dont think I could over state that. Guys are constantly helping eachother out and making other teams make tough shots and I think that is the SINGLE biggest reason for this teams turn-around. That and Addleman is that much better of a coach.
SledNeck
Over Love? I would say yes. Martell has a hustle that you just dont see much in the NBA anymore. He gets a rediculous amount of rebounds for a guy his size and he flys back on defense.
