my first buck

Hey, guys I just wanted to know how you guys have been doing during muzzle loader season. I shot my 1st buck ever. Is it weird to have 2 brow tines on each antler? I don't know a whole lot about antlers. I just go out to get one deer for some meat. Thats all I take more than one deer is way too much meat for this guy. Here is a pic

The antlers cam come in any shape or form.

If I understand you correctly, you have a forked brow tine on each side?

Not unusal but it is different than the norm.

Nicely done 1st buck ever is never a memory forgot. Me 1984, 2day season, 7 pointer following a doe and 2 fawns at 7:32AM opening AM and the last year of metal tags I think, had a ball on 1 end and I was decked out in red which was legal back then, see 27 years ago and it remembers like it was yesterday. Wish you luck in the future.

Congrats on your first buck. My first buck was a 3 pointer opening morning of 1994. It took me quite a few years to shoot a buck. The second one was an 8 pointer 6 days later...

The antlers you are describing can be caused by many factors. Age, Hormones, Genetics, ect. Its all unclear or proven why they do what they do. Nice buck!
