shortfatguy
Looks great! We did a thanksgiving like this at a family cabin. Had roasted mallards, venison backstrap, venison heart, and pheasant with Minnesota wild rice hot dish. We did deep fry a turkey but plan on repeating this wild game feed every year. This was the first year and it was spur of the moment. I already have much more planned for next year.

SFG, this sounds like a great way to use all the wild game that you had hunted during the season. But, it does put some pressure on the Hunter-Gather to perform for the upcoming dinner next year! goblueM
nice! pretty satisfying isn't it? Last spring i had freshly shot wild turkey with wild rice, fresh-picked morels and ramps, and wild brookies. It was pretty awesome
OnAFly
I had a couple of grouse tonight for dinner with a nice sauce of butter, white wine, shallots, and garlic. I could put that stuff on a shoe and it would taste good
