Antler Catching!

Does any know if antler catching devices are illeagal in MN. was looking a making one like the RACK TRAP. It uses bungee cords and a feed bucket.

They are illegal in this state, I know of people putting out alfalfa bales and picking up antlers around them.

Have seen the corn under logs so they have to really stick there heads in there before

I have heard of guys putting feed in a five gallon bucket so the deer has to stick it's head in the bucket and the edges help knock off loose antlers. Building a trough with. A low roof over it to hold feed. Keeps the feed dry and the roof is low enough to knock antlers off of bigger bucks.

(a) A person may take and possess naturally shed antlers without a license.

( A person may not place, arrange, or set equipment in a manner that is likely to artificially pull, sever, or otherwise cause antlers of live deer, moose, elk, or caribou to be shed or removed.
