LMITOUT
That's what was going through my mind when I pulled up on the first bird and saw the second get up right behind it...a chance for a double. Perfect example of "one in the hand is better than two in the bush". I took the audio out because there was a "religious message" at the end of the video...but not quite like the ones at the end of the Lindner's show. Jim Almquist
Boy if that doesn't get the heart racing!!!Did you drop your FOV down to 127 ?The reason I ask is it looks great and not so fish eye.
LMITOUT
I took those videos at 1080 in the medium setting to reduce the fisheye effect. It is 30 frames per second not 60 like I had thought.1080 is the only setting where there are field of view settings other than wide. Would be nice to shoot in a slightly lower resolution to keep video sizes small yet not have the fish eye look but those choices aren't available. MuleShack
Nice vids! My DSL was out since early Saturday and couldn't see them from the phone. I noticed that shooting in 1080 with the 30fps, gives a somewhat blurred effect with action shots like hunting. The 720P with 60fps does a lot better with clarity, in my limited experience. HD video takes a lot of PC power. I've moved on from WMM and have been using Cyberlink Pro Director. I've been really happy with it. It sure takes quite a bit if time to render and upload in HD format though. I usually stick to 720p to save some time. For example a 5 min vid I produced last night took about 2 hours to render and 20 min to upload. Thats what I hated with WMM also. If I had a 30 minute clip from the camera, it took about 45 minutes before I could even work on it. With Pinnacle, it takes about 2 minutes to break it up into 10 second clips and then it only renders what you move down into the actual project...so that part is sweet. Saving still takes a little while, but atleast I can start to work on thing right away.
Dave S
Looks like I should upgrade to the GoPro HD camera. Nice vids LMIT. Don't fret on a missed bird or two. Looks like you were shooting better than I did this year. Fields look familiar too

PierBridge
Notice, how I changed to another of the many languages I've mastered over the years in order not to violate forum policy, at the end of the run. Not me of course I would have bailed into the rock's and broke bones trying not to be hit by a 600 pound machine. In a nutshel the GoPro helmet mounting systems has some potential. LMITOUT
Made another video today showing the dog doing her thing and a few roosters too. This was captured on one walk. Best viewed in 720p. No audio.
MuleShack
Was playing yesterday trying out the doggy cam. It was OK as long as the dog was walking. As soon as it ran, the camera bounces around and almost makes ya dizzy. I just had it attached to the E collar with the adhesive piece. It only lasted 2 retrieves Interesting perspective though. smalliehunter
wondering how much record time i can get out of a 32gb memeory card
MuleShack
I usually record in the 720p 60fps mode and get a little over an hour on 8Gig, so you should be able to get around 4 with that setting. Going 1080p with 30fps should net around 4 hours also with a 32gig.
smalliehunter
so on my tournament days i will need to bring 2 or 3 memory cards... anyone know a good HSOforum to get them on.. im new to all this do i really need a class 10 when filming an 8 hour fishing day? PierBridge
I think amazon is down to $28 and I picked up a 32g glass 10 at Computer Center here in the Citys for $32 last week.Your biggest issue will be with the battery. You'll need a charger and an extra battery to do what you want. Also for anybody thinking about this GoPro remember it doesn't have ANY zoom capabilities so it's pretty limited in what it can do at any distance to speak of.To me it's just a camera to mount on somebody or something, thats where it shines. As far as mounting possibilities goes nothing can really touch the GoPro yet. But you sure pay for it.My Kodak Playsport does a little better job from distance but it appears I still need a 3rd Video camera with optical zoom for better sporting event filming and anything more than a few feet away.I think even DTRO's Sony has some optical zoom which really helps for a lot of filming situations.Good Luck! Another limitation on the GoPro is not being able to downsize the resolution very much so you will need a lot of media to store 8 hours of Video. You could probable get by on a lower class card but life would be easier with the 10 IMO.
