2012 bows

Anyone been shooting any? I just shot the heli m by mathews. first thing i noticed was how light it was. It seems very similar to my Z7 just removed a string stop and add a draw stop to make the back wall a little more solid.

All in all its a nice bow, but do not see my self trading my Z7 for it.

Got that in at cabin fever just yesterday it is a cool bow. Only 3.5 pounds. A little more vibration than the last year but that is to be expected with the lighter weight. Some of the Hoyts are in too. They are really nice once again too. I really like them. The PSE's will be a couple weeks still until we get to see those but hopefully they have some good things in store

I'm waiting for the new pse to come in so I can fling some arrows through it,I'm kinda getting away from the hype of the 2 other manufactures out their and probably going back to pse never had any problems with their bows and customer service is great.

My dad is getting some 2012 Hoyt's in and they didn't really change much, including the price.

Kind of disappointing as there's not enough change to justify buying a new bow. Maybe next year.......

I shot the Hoyt Carbon Element RKT on Saturday. It was smooth and fast. I definitely noticed the harder back wall which I could get used to.

It did seem a little bit noisy to me though. I will probably shoot it again before I make a decision.

I still need to shoot the new Mathews although it appears to me that for the most part they just made it lighter. I also might just see if I can get a little break on a Z7 Extreme. I'm really not worried about how heavy my bow is.

I got the Diamond Outlaw this year for $499, loaded and ready to shoot. A "cheap" bow I know, but I think it's great and really love shooting it. For someone who shot an entry level Parker Buck Hunter for the past 7 years (and killed a lot of deer with it), it was awesome. I'm hopefuly to have this one for at least the next 7 years.
