Tannery lost bear hide?

I have not had it happen with a tannery, I had it happen with a taxidermist and not much you can do.

If they lose your trophy is it just tough luck? If I were to spend $16,000 on a grizzly hunt and they lose its just to bad?

How big of a bear, what kind of mount did you want? I have green hide in the freezer about a 6 ft. Adam

ha im still waiting for my cousin to get my bear skull back to me from last year, im starting to wonder if he lost that

Depends on what you signed when you gave it to them. Any contract involved that covers loss or damage? Any insurance?

I have never had that happen to date but feel your pain. that is not right and hopefully the tannery or taxi offers up something for you. But, I dont know if I would trust another trophy with that company. that is really to bad. good luck and give em some ^%$#.

Sure would like to know what company though......
