Getting Owens would be like getting Moss back. In spite of todays win I still see Mcnabb is a problem. Vikings need to start working for the future and start testing either Rookie QBs and put Mcnabb on the bench. If Owens were to come here I doubt we will see Ponder or Webb

We're at the point in the season to figure out if we need to get Andrew Luck. Play Ponder, play Webb, and see where that gets us. Obviously McScrubb won't be back next season.

If I didn't know any better, the Vikings upper management went to the same school as the Twins upper management.

Who cares what receiver they want to bring to MN if we don't have a QB who can get the ball to them. The way McNabb has been throwing the ball, we would have been just as well off to keep Jackson.

Terrell Owens would prove to be nothing more than another chapter in the book of the Vikes all-time biggest failures if he comes to MN. wink

Heard on radio there was specualtion Berrian might have blew off a meeting. Getting T.O is not the answer. Offense needs to get Harvin in pass pattern more instead of the reverses, even though they are effective. Frazier needs to put his pride aside because he wanted McNabb from the get go. I think if the team didn't win Frazier would have pressure to start Ponder/Webb. Now that we won he will stick with McNothing. Depending where Vikes are with wins a move needs to be made during bye week to get new starter time with 1st team.

Owens is just comming off his injury and would just be a "rest of the season" player. if your going to get a player make it one that can stick around. i think at this point Webb or Ponder could do as well or better than McNabb, so make two spots on the roster open. cut McNabb and Berrian and send a real messege like we are looking at the future not just till the bye week. good luck.

"Berrian done" - music to my ears. Aromashadu is better anyways. Get Ponder in there and get him some experience. This team still has a good D and a great running game. An average passing game can get us into the playoffs next year. Quit wasting our time and start figuring that part of our game out with Ponder. Although it would be nice, we don't need another wr. We need to draft Oline and defense. Get Ponder passing to percy and those tight ends. The Patriots (best passing team in the league) have a deep threat and he sits on the sidelines. They get it done with wes welker/deion branch and their TE's. We can do it with our TE's, percy/jenkins/aromashadu. Just have to get Ponder in there.

TO = OD. Keep him the hejj out of Mn. He is just another dried up head case.

I won't argue with that. I just want a player that gives 100% every snap(ex. Donald Diver, Hines Ward). Those players are a diamond in the rough nowadays. If I said or acted like some of the players nowadays at my job I would be fired same should go with athletes.

Kind of sounds like the player that the Vikings just let walk, in Sydney Rice. Argue as you want about how he handled an unusual injury, but he gave more than 100% when he was on the field.
