hi just wondering where i can find these is this a logging type one. i heard they dont make tongs any more is this true

I have got all of mine at antique stores. The stand up tongs work real well but they can be expensive.

You can still get tongs at most stores that sell spearing supplys or off of the E store and FF carries them as well.

Another place to look is flea markets

I also bought a set of logging tongs from Northern.

I went to the gas station and bought a block of ice for a test.

Out of the box it didn't have enough bite, but 5 minutes with an angle grinder fixed that! I sharpened them down to a needle and it worked great!

Only downside is that it was made in china..................

I got a pair from Double Diamond spears a few years ago. My memory is foggy, I think they were $50 or $60. More than a flea market set, but they work great. Double Diamond is located near Hutchinson.
