those bullheads are a hot item there. i've been in more than a few times and they were sold out. love clarks though, close to the house and there is a picture of my wife on the wall

They are out...they dont think they are going to keep selling them as they didnt have very good luck with them.

If he's really charging only a buck and a half a dozen, just bring as many as you can carry, Gordie. That's unbelievably cheap. I'm sure there will be PLENTY of folks willing to take some off your hands at even 3x that price -- might even pay for your gas down here and back.

Anything from 5 inches to 10 inches will work, but I tend to really like the 8-9 inchers about the best.

I like the seven inch range for Bullheads. The bigger ones usually yield smaller fish and the smaller bait gets me bigger fish most of the time. Easier to cast a smaller size bait when you're on shore too.

I personally don't think it really matters what size you use as long as it stays lively then a feeding Flathead won't pass it up.

Wow cool, in my mind I was thinking 4inches but I did catch a bunch of 6 to 9 inches. It took me a year to find them but I finally found them ranging from 1 to 9 inches..... Thanks guys

super fast current...through the upper lip. Mild current through the dorsal.

You're right 4" is walleye bait. Caught a 23" walleye with a 4" bully. I did put a 7" and caught a cat

On average, how long will lake-caught bullies last in a 5 gallon bucket with one of those little aerators you can get at WallyWorld?

You can cut them in half just behind the dorsal fin, and they'll still be gasping for air 2 hrs later...
