After watching him for 90 minutes and him being at 50 yards once he and 2 hens stepped out of the plowing and into the long grass before the woods. He was 150 yards away by now and I could just see the top of his fan so I decided to put the stalk on him. Slipped out of my blind and crept up to an old ragged blind with a hole to shoot thru and he was still strutting and coming my way. When I finally ranged him at 40 yards my Magnus Stinger found its mark. Color me a happy camper! 22 pounds, 9 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/8 inch spurs. Man those things are sharp!!
