Yes REALLY, where is Tori Hunter and Johan Santana, I forgot they could not affford those guys or guys like them because they HAD to pay Mauer and Morneau! But I better apologize for criticizing Baby Jesus and the Twins, they are perfect!

So we should be excited for someone that makes $188 million because he sells jerseys!! The only reason he is still here is because he's a hometown kid! And evidently you can't say anything bad about this team and still be a fan, maybe I should just "change the channel or root for someone else" It's amazing how we supposed to be happy with mediocrity!

Yeh, you can't say anything bad about the Twins on here or some posters will get SORE feelings...they'd be forced to take a week or two off work then.

I am glad a few of you are catching on. The novelty of that new stadium is going to wear off, and unless this team spends some money on free agents, makes some trades for a superstar or three, the seats will be half full in a few years. Ask the Royals, Pirates, Orioles. All have beautiful stadiums (Pirate Stadium's supposedly nicest in MLB) and locally, ask the Wild and Wolves. Practically giving Wild tickets away this season. And they were giving Wolves tickets away

Pohlads are only worried about stuffing their wallets, not the trophy case. Winning the Central is NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE. We paid for half that stadium- WE DESERVE BETTER

When any business pays their employees over what they are worth, just to keep them in employment for their business, what does an employer expect? Really, should they, (is the employee going to really work that hard? would your?) If someone, anyone, was giving you millions, based on their expectation of your performance, contracted money, seriously. All of professional sports is a joke, if you want to make it real, set your pay scale on last/previous years performace.. et... x amount of HRs gets this, RBIs gets this or how you rank compared to your peers LAST YEAR you get this...$$$$$ That would prevent the OMG I think I broke a nail, excuse to perform, OMG I pulled a muscle that NO ONE ELSE EVEN KNOWS EXISTS!@ The excuse of they are a proffesional is a joke. How many else on this board is a proffesional in their occupation and doesn't stay home with a hang nail??????

so increasing their payroll by 72% from 2010 to 2011 wasn't good enough for you? or a 93% increase in payroll from 09 to 11? how much do they need to spend to classify as "spending money" to you?

The funny thing is all of this negativity would not exist if the Twins were playing good baseball right now.

They essentially have the same team as last year, but I do think they lost a huge part of their bullpen in Crain and Gurrier. All of the injuries are not helping either.

This team is built for success and there is no reason this team can not get back to playing good baseball. It is a long season and I expect many of you to be jumping back on the wagon.

When Mauer, Young and Ishy come back healthy they will turn this season around. If they are at .500 by the break they have a chance.

This years team is FAR different than last years. JJ Hardy, Orlando Hudson and Punto are the most significant losses on the defensive side of the ball. Also we lost Rauch, Fuentes, Crain, Guerrier, Rob Delaney, Jeff Manship, Ron Mahay, and Randy Flores from the bullpen.

Not to mention the injuries to Thome, Morneau, Mauer and Delmon make our lineup extremely different this year than what it was last year.

Nope. Not when they are spending that money on guys that are already here, including a few that LIVE on the DL. They need to go out and get FRESH blood. Proven vets. Jayson Werth, Cliff Lee, etc.

Mauer is the biggest [e-mail:[email protected]] in professional sports. It has now been proven. Also, I can't believe some here that don't ever question anything the Twins do, their play, basically anything.! Must be on the Twins payroll.

Billy Smith has proven to be a pretty bad GM. His trades have mostly been bad and some of the decisions to dump certain players and roll with no bench and plenty of subpar infielders and relief staff to start the year should get him fired. He is completely wasting the M&M boys. Twins should have won a championship while these 2 are/were in their primes. Seems like maybe we should rename them the M.O.G boys (made of glass) now though and the window might be closing or closed.

Gardy is a good manager, but he needs to do something about how soft this team is. Time to start calling out your "leaders" and putting them in the lineup, even if they are "sore" or "can't get loose". Gimme a break guys. get your pansy arses in there.

I still have faith they will turn it around.....I watch some of every game and from what I've seen these players have no heart seems like they could care less if they are even there and I blame the manager/managment for that on the other hand I'd play my heart out for the league minimum and I wouldn't need motivation...it was nice to see Pavano throw a temper tantrum with the bat yesterday even though the bat won. If they can turn it around by the end of June they have a shoot but it get harder every game.

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
