Finally mounted my turkey fans!

I had a couple fans drying in my basement for way to long. My father-in-law made the plaques for me for christmas in 2009. It took my buddy getting his first turkey on opening day to finally lite a fire under me to get them done. So I finally stained them and finished the mounts. I wrapped the beard in a little leather from my first mule deer. Had gloves made out of it from Uber tanning and they sent with the gloves the extra pieces of leather. I knew it would come in handy someday. I do think I need to figure out something more with the spurs though. I think they turned out awesome.

So what you're saying the two or three I have in the garage from other years I should get going on? Kind of like the fan from my second biggest gobbler that my now deceased K9 chewed to little feathery pieces... (That's not why he's deceased, but he came darn close.)
