always someone who has a great idea to help others out. i drifted accross a bay one time on rush and you would be amazed at all the cans, bottles and junk on the bottom. if i had the extra money i would get me one of those. good luck.

I'm not sure I like the idea that you're lifting whatever it is you grab with the cord of the camera.

I'd rather see a rope or something along side it that does the brunt of the lifting.

AquaVu has a stainless steel braided cable molded inside the cord on all of its underwater cameras to take the weight. A rope would just make a tangled mess with the cord.

That is really cool... Agree with the comment to see the actual view on the grabber. Ya the golf ball retrievers will be all over this bad boy.

Almost makes you want to start a business for retrieving car keys and other valuables things for folks stuck on the water.

Awesome garbage picker upper as Reinhard1 said. There have been countless times while fishing bass that I have seen garbage that I tried snagging or using the net to get out of the lake. Plus those bonus tackleboxes, lures and sometimes fishing rods would be an easy grab with this baby...

Ah, the power of editing. They were probably out there all day trying to pick up the 7 items.

Maybe they should make a really big one for all of these guys that cant seem to hold onto their anchors. Then they can sell them back their Richter anchors.

Losing an anchor is littering.

I think this would sell incredibly well if it'd fit down an 8" ice hole, looks like the basket might be a little too big though.

Neat idea, but I bet one could fix up his own contraption of similar ability for a heck of a lot less...

But can it go down an 8 inch ice hole? 10 inch?

I would like to see how easy it is to just grab it and pull it up if the bottom is rocky.

Great in theory for trash pick up, but it looks like it would probably take forever to clean up a decent amount of garbage.

Def a cool product though, one of those things that you don't ever need until you suddenly need it really bad. Agree with whoever above mentioned renting them. I can't come up with a need or 8 hundo that would make me ever buy one, but I would throw down 25 bucks to rent one for the afternoon if I needed it.

I just read on Facebook that the claw will fit down a 10 inch hole. I guess if necessary most anglers using 7 or 8 inch augers could just punch another hole making it big enough which is easy.

Hey “shnelson”, how’s it going building your own robotic camera claw retriever deal for a heck of a lot less or are you waiting for the robotic parts store to have a sale?
