when I recycle electronics, I dismantle them to make sure that the solder gets disposed of properly. Part of this entails taking apart the hard drives, and I keep a collection of the magnets.

This will also work in 8-10 feet of water or less. It works for saws, spud bars w/rope, rods...The list goes on.

I lost a spear due to my own stupidity once. didn't tie the spear to house in 17' of water and there was about a15lb fish on the end of it so it sailed way out of view. the next weekend I set up my house about 20' from where I lost the spear. and guess what. there it was with fish still on spear. A little advice if this happens to you, JUST CUT YOUR LOSSES AND LEAVE THE SPEAR!!!!! That was one of the grossest slime balls of pure stink I ever pulled out of the water!

So your'e saying i'm stupid??? I'm kidding. I think the 8 year old little helper that had my spear may have messed with the knot a wee bit.... Can't say for sure but it really doesn't matter because the stories are always better when things like this happen.
