Need some help. I lost the HSOforum that followed the barometer on. Looking for a site that shows the last week of barometer readings in a chart. Thanks for the help and good luck fishing.

Very nice HSOforum for weather details but I could not find a history for barometric pressure similar to NOAA. Sorry it is not quite the same when copied and pasted.

What is a good barometric situation for fishing? I've heard a lot of difference in opinion...

It seems like a falling or steady barometric pressure will give you a better day of fishing. Best way to think about it is the fishing always stinks after a cold front when it is a blue bird day with the winds out of the north and temps have fallen. That is usually when the pressure is high or above 30.00

www.Wunderground.com Go the the 'classic' view and it allows you to get historic data. You plug in the location and the date and you get the data. There was actually a graph giving the number by the hour.

Yup, I keep records of memorable catches and get the barometer readings during the winter when I'm bored. I also go to weatherunderground, type in your location, and click the date under "history and almanac". Walla, they keep great records!

i have a question when you type in a city and bring up your area on wunderground. it has the pressure in inchs then a line. what does that line mean? does it show the bar. pressure line for the day?

If i interpret your question correctly, the line is the graphical represntation of the movement of the barrometric pressure over time.

Be careful when looking at different time frames separately because the graph is an auto fit to scale.

Barr pressure is traditionally measured in inches. The other unit of measure is "millibars" but I have not heard that used often, with the exception being relative to tropical storm systems.

Hope this helps, but if you look at one day, the line graph will be how the pressure moved throughout the day.
