Just had my first Father's day, and I got an awesome gift. A guided fishing trip with FM's own Tom Herman the "Gull Guide" grin.gif

how about one son winning 1st place in his soccer tournament and the other 2 catch some nice eyes for supper (with dq peanut buster parfait)for dessert and a very entertaining phone call from my favorite daughter!ahhhh who lives better than a olde man?

I recieved the book-

I got cards and phone calls, from my kids, a card from my wife that put a smile on my face, and I got to take the day off and loaf! I had just came off of a monster week of work. No fixing this or that, no running here, or there, we had been up to Pokagama on Saturday, so I was ready to watch the twins and Phil Mickelson give away the U.S. Open...it was "Awwwite!"

I had a double whammy with my birthday also being on Sunday. Went fishing in the am, came home to a bbq with my dad and father in law. Recieved a drift sock, subscription to outdoor news and a few gift certificates.

Had to give up our Father/Son Fishing tournament in Wabasha but I got to spend all day long with my new Granddaughter, my son's first child so I think I came out the winner.
Also got a nice shop vac to vacumn out the boat and a card for 11 car washes.
Plus a little somethin - somethin if you know what I mean.
