8th annual GTG recap

Today was such a fun day I thought I would start a new thread of the events. Anyone feel free to jump in.

As the Archery Sniper reported Dealer is the new Nord Lord. He waited until the end of the day to sneak in his three fish victory.

I didn't get a head count but it was a great turnout. It was great meeting everyone. It appears we have a new spear fisherman hooked after Quickfishnoob speared his first fish today.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me get going. My dad and I had an awesome time. Definitely looking forward to next year's GTG. Sounds like the big ones came in late, wish I could have stayed until dark. Did you ever see more than just a tail MJ?

I ended up with someones dip net. It has an aluminum handle with some duct tape by the net.

had a great time out there yesterday nice to meet all you guys, looks like the fish were hitting before dark, i had to duck out at 330 for a dinner in the cities so it was a skunk day for me. Thanks again everyone

Take a look at some of the pics of fish those southern boys have Speared down there and I think there was plenty of serious competition.
