for bluegills & crappies I use :

northland hexi fly, bro's bloodworm

lindy's genz fat boy, genz worm

for catfish :

lindy's rattlin flyer spoons

lindy's slick jigs.

I also have lindy darters. I have tried them but didn't hook anything with them yet. they did call fish in but nothing would bite.

I like the diamond jigs, and gills pills all work great but in some situations some work better. I started getting into buying the tungsten jigs and LOVE them but am looking for a good quality brand, the fiskas have some poor hook quality they always keep snappin off and at $3 a pop its irritating.

Well u can get any type buck shot are nice, chubby darters to the new lindy darters. I like rapala jig n raps. It all depends on what type of fishing you want to present. They all have there moments and u can get overwhelmed but their is no one magic lure for everything. I suggest to go buy a bunch of lures of different shapes and colors. The more u mess around with the better chance of having the right presentation.

Yeah I hear ya it's a disease. I always by a couple lures hear and there and eventually u will have a good selection. Granted u dont run into some line breakers:)

#6 white/orange Demon for crappies and sunfish and perch! #4 White/orange Demon for walleyes! Thats my go to lure almost every time!
