Vikings 2011 Schedule

Looks like the NFC North plays the NFC South and AFC West divisions next year, plus one team from the NFC East and one from the NFC West.

Home - GB, DET, CHI, NO, TB, ARI, OAK, DEN.

Away - GB, DET, CHI, WAS, CAR, ATL, SD, KC

Ari, Den, and Car. Should win these games at least. Maybe one division game at home? Throw in one game were a blind squirrel can find an acorn. 5- 6 wins tops.

Looks bad considering we should have the toughest division in the NFL. I predict Detroit will win the division. Chicago will improve also as well as Green Bay.

Come on now, you can't believe all the hype can you? I know they are not the Lions of old, but I have a hard time picturing the Blue and Silver atop any division, especially the North.

Vikings will not have it easy next year. I predict more of the same, playoffs for the teams that play outdoors.

i think it may be fun to predict division champs, but what will happen in the off season [drafts, free agents, trades, training camp] will give us more meat to chew on for predictions in the upcomming season [if there is one]. good luck.

Looks to me like the Vikes will be rebuilding for a couple seasons unless Zigy open's the checkbook up.

Harvey, thats the one thing I like about the Wilfs, they will spend money. I'm still trying to fiquire out this years biggest problem, Chilly, O-line, or #4. Cant use injuries cuz look what the pack did.

Man, bitter fans or what? Already writing off the 2011 Vikes?

We can try to predict all we want, but who would have guessed the Chiefs would win the AFC West? That Dallas and Washington would be tied for last? That we would be tied for last with Detroit? Even after the draft and the trades and training camp, anything can happen.

Looking further into the schedule at the two games of non-common opponents, here is what we have:

Chicago Bears, HOME: Seattle Seahawks; AWAY: Philadelphia Eagles

Detroit Lions, HOME: San Francisco 49ers; AWAY: Dallas Cowboys.

Green Bay Packers, HOME: St. Louis Rams; AWAY: New York Giants.

Minnesota Vikings, HOME: Arizona Cardinals; AWAY: Washington Redskins

Again, this year's turnout may have no bearing next year, but based on this year (as we have nothing else to go on yet), I like our two games against uncommon opponents better than anyone else's in the North.

Thats because most people are bandwagon fans, when the Vikes are doing good they are awesome and the best team ever thats going to the superbowl, when they are losing they are the worst team ever and won't be good for many years.

Here's the Packers 2011 opponents.

Home: NFC North, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams.

Away: NFC North, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, New York Giants.

Packers play the NFC East second place team since that's where they finished and the Vikings finished last (I just like saying that ) they play the NFC East last place team.
