Shack
Webb is the same thing as T-Jack and if either one of them has out shined one another this season, pass the microscope this way. I say get ride of them both!
zamboni
You Webb fans are nuts. They won last night because of defense, not Webb. Period.
FISHINGURU
That would be pretty dumb, why would you want to get rid of Webb when he's only played a game and a half? Even if he isn't a franchise QB he'd be a better back up then Junkson. He wasn't even drafted to be a QB and already has more skills you look for in a QB. Junkson would of been so rattled, anyone remember last time we went down to Philly with Junkson at the helm?
paceman
T-Junk always had that wild eye look about him. He always looks scared out of his mind. Webb looked really good for his first start as a pro. He made some nice throws, made good decisions, yes he missed a few throws, had a bad sack... but that big third and 11 conversion throw and the one that rice bobbled in the end zone were very good throws. He looked calm and relaxed. Yes the defense kept us in the game but Webb did a solid Job as well. I hope farve does not play this weekend as we need to see more out of Webb. Lots of one game wonders in the NFL so time will tell.
zamboni
TJacks days in a Vikes uni are done. Him and Culpepper will be together soon in the UFL
harvey lee
I do believe Webb will be in a Viking uniform next season. As a back up at a minimum.

I say get ride of them both! If you can't or didn't see the difference between Webb and TJack then there is no hope for you Shack. I'm not saying Webb is the future #1 of this team but it was clear he has a much better field presence, demeanor, and athleticism than TJack has ever shown. He did this in his 1st start. soldoncass
My opinion: Retire Pat williams and Kliensasser and Favre. Get rid of(cut): Walker, Madeiu Williams, Lito Shepherd, Tahi, Basket, Berrian, Greg Lewis. Lots of free agents, practice squad players that can replace any of them. The guys "on the bubble" are, Lieber, Asher Allen, Ramsey, Dugan, Young, Jackson....depends if they can be signed cheap and if they can beat out young, hungry guys coming up. Vikes need QB depth...not seeing that out of Bromar, Jackson, Ramsey....Webb has earned a chance. Anyone know what happened to Archer? I was screaming at Asher Allen ,A LOT, but then he makes a good play and he is quick , although too slow for 1 on 1. Maybe he could play in the nickel....I noticed on the Vikes practice squad there are several d backs....1 or 2 MAY make something of themselves. They also have a few OL on practice squad, for possible depth there. Farwell valuable on special teams...Camarillo and Booker are good "spot" players...Greenway and EJ and Rice can't be replaced...I'd look for a fast, quick return man/ rb for a change of pace, so Harvin isn't overused. Draft in front of NE and Arizona....they took all my favorites on draft day last year. Keep Frazier for 3 years...see how he does.
FISHINGURU
We need Posluszny if the Bills don't resign him.
greebs
"Bears: Carolina, SeattleVikings: Saints, ArizonaThe only difference in the schedules between the Bears and Vikings are two games. The bears just took care of business with in the division. What are the Vikings going to end up with one division win, maybe?"good points but don't forget where some of the common games occurred. vikes got jets, patriots, and eagles on the road while bears hosted those teams. next years' schedule will be more favorable. still need to win games in the division though as pointed out. pike doctor
I dont know how many of you watched the bowl games today, but two of the guys that I thought the Vikings should target in the upcomming draft played today and were absolute studs. I think both did better in the run than the pass, but that is what we need with AP anyway.1. Mike Pouncey, the Center for Florida showed just how big, fast, and strong he was today. He made a couple major pancake blocks helping Flordia beat Penn State. He would make a good replacement for Sullivan.2. Gabe Carimi, LT for Wisconson had a pretty impressive game even though they lost. He did a good job protecting the QB, and he has way more foot speed than McKinney. He could probably pick up some of this speedy DEs better than old cement shoes. I really hope we go O-line early. If we cant block it doesnt matter who our QB/RB/WR are. Stcloudangler
Agreed, gonna need a good center with Suh in the division for the next 10 years.
FISHINGURU
I say we go O-line heavy, early and often, Logan Mankins would be a solid addition.
