Snow on Monday

I have to chuckle at how people are freaking out that it might snow during the game tomorrow night. It's football people, not baseball. It's meant to be played outdoors in the elements and not under a security blanket. Put your big boy pants on and go play/watch the game.

it's going to be fun to watch on t.v and you'd have to be drunk to stand in a 2' square for 3 hours to watch the game. When they invented football back in the 19th century they never wrote in the rules that when technology dictates that a stadium can be covered, and football can be played inside, that it would be against the rules.

Don't plan on watching it, got a sweet tip for some hot walleye action. Will be out fishing until 9-10 tomorrow night.

I don't think it matters snow or not, the Vikes current roster can't win outdoors anyways. In a way, I am ok with it since the Pack will get creamed tonight and the bears will be up on them by 2 games... If we can't have it, the pack can't either! grinsmirk

Maybe the snow will soften up the field. I dont know if any one has herd Kluwe comment that the field is rock hard 90 minutes after the tarp was taken off. Hopefully no one gets hurt playing out there.

These guys make how much to play a game?? Suck it up and play football! Vikings/Packers/Bears of days gone by who made squat for salary, played on harder surfaces than The Bank. Maybe one of the 50 Great will walk up to Kluwe before the game and hand him a tissue.

I agree that with a frozen field and players that are not use to playing on it, one or more get get bad injuries.

Yes the players of years ago played on it all the time and they were use to it.

many of today's dome players have no idea what they are about to play on tonight.

I agree Frank, many hate the dome but it's surely better than playing on a field of snow and frozen ground.

The game will stink as no player can showcase their talents at all. Its simply who can play the best in very poor conditions.

THAT is real football, people! True fans in the stands throwing snow after the TD and having a good time. Not the corporate crowd from mamby pamby land. Build a stadium without a roof and you'll have what GB, Chicago, and all the rest of the outdoor teams have.....a real franchise that is something to get excited about!
