bisonthunder
Good for Leslie Frazier to make this part of the season interesting... but every win puts us farther into draft day pergatory... The Pack and Bears are not going to lose out which means not chance for a Vikes miracle run to playoffs. Mallett or Luck would have to have their stock plummet for us to have a chance... what does everyone else think?
toughguy
I think you win any game you can. Especially when you're looking for $600M of tax payer money.

Stcloudangler
I think when we play some good teams here in the next 3 weeks your wish will be granted.
Surface Tension
Who would buy a ticket or watch the game if they knew the team was planning on loosing the rest of the season? Nope play to win every game.
Nick Kuhn
There are still plenty of good players available in the middle of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds. The Vikings aren't bad enough to get Luck, and either Mallett or Locker will still be around when the Vikings pick. Otherwise there will be quite a few offensive linemen and DBs available at that time.
FISHINGURU
Yep, now that old coach is gone there is no reason to lose. Frazier is doing a good job so far might as well win if we can. If we would of kept the old coach we would of been drafting in the top 5 but it was worth the trade off. No draft picks are guaranteed to be good and they are spending without proving anything. Also, you never know, A-Rodge slipped down to pick #24 when all leading up to the draft everyone was wondering if he'd go #1 or #2. Everyone knew he'd slip a little bit if he wasn't taking 1 or 2 because no one really needed a QB, but no one thought he'd slip that far. JBMasterAngler
Yeah, this is the NFL draft, not the NBA! You can get some great players beyond the first 5 picks. I'd rather they stock up on O-lineman then draft a QB. Winning the rest of the season is more important than getting a top 5 pick (and cheaper). Coach1310
No matter where they pick, they still have to make the right one..... [PoorWordUsage] shoot no matter what if you ask me.... go take a look at New England. Do they get it right alot??? Yeah, but they also ALWAYS trade down to accumulate picks.... the more chances you got the better chance of striking gold...

If you don't play to win every single game in sports, you are losers, regardless of your record. Sigh.
FISHINGURU
Tom Brady was taken in the 6th round, now thats what you call striking gold.
JBMasterAngler
The vikings could draft Adam Weber in the 6th round Of course, that would be more like striking a septic tank than striking gold
Antero
Draft choices do not always turn out...all teams have had failures in the first round.
