vikings waived moss

this is just plain crazy.....he didn't have a chance at that ball on the penalty after he was tripped up he lost sight of the ball and when he looked back and found it it was landing 5 ft from the right of him.

wrong he could have and should have made a not too difficult catch on the play.....but that in itself sure wouldn't be why this occurred.

We just wasted a 3rd round pick.

The only way the 3rd round pick wouldn't have been wasted is if we had won the super bowl with Moss. They gave the pick up to rent Moss for the rest of this season and thats it. It doesn't matter if he's gone now or at the end of the season, without a super bowl it was a wasted pick.

Actually I just though of another way that the pick might return some value. If this entire Moss fiasco leads to Chilli's firing then I'd call it an even trade. I'd give up a 3rd round pick to get rid of Childress.

The Vikes never used Randy's skills. Randy got very upset when Chilly the [PoorWordUsage] did not try to score b-4 halftime the game before

The Vikings new what Randy is all about but still got him as he is one of the best at a deep threat. Problem, Chilly's game plans never used his skills.

The Vikes are done for the year. Randy was not happy with Chilly or the play and I would bet Farve is now also upset and probably has said to himself that this team is unwinding.

Chilly has to Go and the sooner the better. The Vikes are done for the season and I am sure many are wondering what the heck is going on.

One can say what they want but Zigy has given Chilly about everything and he can't still win.

The sad part is just having Moss on the field opens it up for so many other players.

It would be tough to come into a new system that you never played in and be lights out, there's alot to learn, not only that he was learning as we were playing good teams. Not like Favre had much time to throw the bomb.

This was the final straw for Chilly, even Ziggy will see it now.

Moss is a POISON, always has been, and after comments like that needed to go. (remember why we let him go in the 1st place everyone?) Cant have a guy making the organization/coach looking like total azzes in front of the country. Although I do agree Chilly does that enough with some of the terrible coaching decisions he makes. crazy

We should have never took Moss back, we knew he was poison and didnt work hard all the time. I think the WIN NOW mentality took over and the decision wasnt thought out that much.

I hate to say it but we should just keep losing and hope we can get a good QB and reciever in the draft.

I don't know too much about the draft, or waiving players and such. So my question may be a little amature, but what would it take to have childress fired? Is that a decision that Ziggy makes? Can you fire a coach mid-season and just pick up another? I would think unless you called them out of retirement, they would all be coaching a diff. team lol.
