making a list

One thing that I do that helps is to make up some gutting packs. I use the big cow sleeves that go to my shoulder, roll them up, pu them in a latex glove, throw a zip tie or piece of string in the glove, then take it and roll it into the other latex glove. I buy the sleeves and boxes of gloves at FF I can buy 50 pairs of each for what 3 will cost me if sold as a pack.

+1 on the NO gloves for guttin'........

Nothin' warms your hands up on a cold day like guttin' out a deer!

I do like a good toe warmer though.

Aint that the truth!

Last time i hunted with someone that used gloves, i had his deer gutted before he even got the darn gloves on...

.......but if I've got them it's a lot easier & quicker to cleanup if there's no water around. Get down, throw the gloves on, gut them out, take the gloves off, climb back up in the tree.

True! But it just makes a fella feel proud when he's got a little left over dried blood on his hands when he walks into deer camp and everyone looks at him wonderin' if he got anything. :-D

Red hands with chunks of white adds a little extra flavor to your lunch grin

Back on topic, I make sure i've got extra gloves/boots/hats/socks...in case i get soaked, and don't get them dry by the next morning for some reason.

ditto i always have an extra set of gloves and extra hat with me rain or shine
