setterguy
Have a new English setter pup coming in a few weeks and the family has been trying to come up with names. We have sort of narrowed it down to a hockey theme. So far the choices are, with Stanley being the current front runner. I prefer Easton but I'm being out voted.BauerEastonStanleyBrooksBrotenPuckCheck or Czech (I'm 50% Czech)Any other ideas?

topcat3820
Well, if he's from real Championship lines, it's gotta' be "Team Canada" . Otherwise there's that semi-famous Dominik Hasek guy that you may have heard of ... that would fit your criteria, I believe. If not, there's one or two other Czech NHL players . caseymcq
For some odd reason I would have to side with those who are out voting you. I think Stanley would be a great name for a pup... ... Sorry I had to be that dude There will be pictures, right?
FishinFreaks
DekeZamboniCaromWhere are you getting the new pup from? I wouldn't recommend Zamboni, although it's a cool name. But if you shorten it up and put an "r" on the end, it probably wouldn't be a great family name.I still love the old school hockey. How about Dino? How about Gretzky? What about Gopher? setterguy
Gaborik is Slovakian, not Czech... to us there is a huge difference. And I hope my setter is a little tougher than him. mww24 - send me an email. [email protected] They are some of the best bird dog men in the region, if not country.
