What is Fishing Minnesota......to you?

One thing I look forward to is spending time on FM. Localized information for Mn. and other states as well. Heck, I live in Wi. but spend all my time in a Mn. HSOforum! That tells you something right there. Fishing reports, outdoor related topics, eagerness to share and learn new things, humor, you name it, it's all here in a friendly bash free site. FM members have been refered to as "family", a very appropriate word, IMO. Most people useing this site may not know eachother personaly, but a friendship felt still exists. I look forward to getting to meet some of you and getting involved with the programs available to achieve this. Haveing more fun, and family, that's what Fishing Minnesota is all about! What's the attraction for some of you guys? What do you get from this site? Is is just for reports on fishing? Tips and advise? I also wonder, how many people actualy visit FM regularly without posting. After a while you get familiar with everyone and sort of get to know them. Other than the large amount of "regulars", it would be neat to see everyone that visits this site make at least one post. Could you imagine the floods of posts! Sort of like a show of support. I often wonder, just how many people are out there? LOTS!

I think fishingminnesota.com is successfull beacuse of its "family" of good fisherman who enjoy discussing with others their interest...Fishing. Its fun to hook up with someone on the site and then eventually hook up outdoors. Look at me and Fishhead...We met on here and hooked up at the Sportshow. He's married and he can't cook but I'll always love him...Uh, I mean his River Pro!

There is no other site, at all, that has this much information and tons of people that visit each day willing to share info.

Mrs.BDR can only listen to so much of my outdoors stuff. So I get some of it out here. The reports are great to get out at the right times and places. The discussions about ethics,morals have diffenently had a impact and changed some of my thinking ,that is pretty powerful. I have learned a huge amount of technique things here. Sometimes preshopping for equipment here. But probally one of the coolest things is a strange sense of getting to know some peoples ethics,personallities, morals, ect. Without ever even meeting them.And then if you do hook up with someone that is also a great experience. I could go on and on.

All you guys have got it right.This is the only web site that i visit frequently.No other site can beat this one.I like this site cuz it give all kinds of info and everyone is friendly and willing to give a hand if one is needed where as alot of people like to keep it all to themselves.(I think greed is a very bad thing)so i guess I must say that this site is #1 IMO. I was showed this site by someone and thought it was very interesting and now I'm hooked, but I am not complaining at all.

Granny I would never think about going on F.M. while at work! Its a great place to exchange info, meet new people, check out gear, buy stuff, sell stuff and get the most up to date fishing info anywhere. It seems someone always knows when the bite is hot or not in almost any part of Mn, Wi, Mich,N.D. or S.D. I love this place. People actually think I know what Im talking about here.

Since joining this "family" my knowledge in fishing has been greatly enhanced. I have never checked out a HSOforum on a daily basis more than this one, other than internet dating sites. That's another story.
It is wonderful to read that all us fisherman are relatively open to giving out ideas/tactics/information so everyone else can have the experience in enjoying the MN waters.

I think this site is great as are most of the people here but unfortuneatley i will no longer post anymore specific information on what i use or where to fish on the lakes i go to.....it's because i've had a few people email me with requests for info and never bothered to write back to acknowledge how they did when i asked them nicely to do so and some didn't even have the common courtesy to even give me a thank you.....the info and humor here are great and thanks to Rick and all the others who have put thier time and knowledge into this great site....

I'm stuck in Indiana!!!! This HSOforum is my escape until I get the chance to return each year. I use it fo many things, info ect. I have noticed I also have met quite a few wonderful people on this site. (not in person) Everyone is very helpful. I bought a home up north this year and had question after question and the responses where very helpful. I check everyday sometimes multiple times. I want to thank everyone from the guys and gals like myself and the staff. Without everyone Indiana would be so much more boring, while I'm here I dream of the northern nights!
