moss not happy..............

Moss and his attitude is blown out of porportion by the media.....they would pan on him after he runs 2 straight fly patterns and he would come off the line slowly because the ball is not going his way but he still would have 2 guys watching him where if he goes off the field for a breather they could stack the box for the run. Rice was an unbelievable player and hard worker but Moss has seen more double and triple coverages then Rice ever did and Moss still ends up with the ball. The last few years Moss has been more and more of a possetion receiver when needed but he still is the biggest threat on a deep ball in the NFL after 12 years!!!

There really isn't much to compare, Moss smashes everyone but Rice with stats and records and he's still playing, alot of the records Moss has he took them from Rice even faster then Rice accomplished them. If Moss has a career as long as Rice's he'll have tons more of his records.

I guess he don't belong in the same company as the other guys cause he squirted a ref with a water bottle and pretended to moon the Packers lol.

still doubt he will catch rice's career reception and yardage records. he's got a shot of breaking his td records but will need several more strong seasons that. if it doesn't happen, it will be a case where many will say he could have had he given his all all of the time, not just when things were going good. he does have a very good shot of walking away from the game with the crown of 2nd best of all time though.

Revis and jackson are whiners too. But I suppose we should all feel sorry for them too? Poor guys. How are they going to put food on the table.

Totally agree with ya, thats why i started the "revis and other selfish players that hold out........" thread a while back!! But like i said, at least moss is still playing ball!

It would be fun to see Randy here. When Rice got back watch out it would be great to see. Think of the big plays we would see. Not only receivers but AP would get more big runs. Or one would think it would really spread the defenses.

think he'd do well with a deal for just remainder of season to play with favre. when he's motivated and wants to play there's no one better but don't sign him for next year unless they've got a good qb ready to go by then because it wouldn't take long for randy to not give his all with jackson chucking it to him.

Can he block for the QB? Because it doesnt pay for Moss to run deep if Favre is laying on his butt.

Think back to the 1998 Vikings...we had an outstanding offensive line and Cunningham had forever to throw. Part of that is because teams weren't stacking the line of scrimmage since most teams needed every guy they could get to help cover Moss and Carter. Randy Moss isn't the same now as he was in '98 but he was still getting double covered in the New England vs. NY Jets game.

So to anwser your question, "can he block?" I say yes because I think our opponents will go back to trying to defend Moss instead of sending an extra player to blitz Favre.

SWEEEET!!!! Not bad at all for a 3rd rounder. The whole team hinges on getting good pass protection now. If we get it, we win against most teams. I kinda feel like we're back in the race again. Now imagine Moss, Rice, Harvin, and Shiancoe spreading the defense.

Anyone still have some Moss jersey's laying around? Think I threw mine out.

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
