I'm just getting into bass fishing pretty hardcore this year, I wanna know what type of lures work best on mn lakes. If it's not against your morals, post a comment and let us all know! Thanks all

My Favs:

1. Natural colored tubes

2. Texas rigged powerworms

3. X-rap or Huskyjerk

Morals have nothing to do with your question Dhow. Be careful not to turn folks off with your style. You dig?

I suggest adding some frogs to your list. Try hollow body frogs for the mats and buzz frogs when there's water; especially on the edges of those mats.

I fish these four lures 98% of the time:

1. Spinnerbait

2. I will get railed for this - Banjo Minnow

3. Texas-rigged worm

4. Topwater frog (both plastic and hard body)

Anti-confidence baits

1. Spoons - Never caught a fish on one

2. Crankbaits - I tend to fish shallow and weedy much of the time

1. senko it plains catches bass

2. small jig like a bitzy bug

3. top water frog

4. crankbait

Guess that's all I need

Banjo Minnow? Da da ding ding ding ding ding. I used to have those - bascially it's a fluke which work really well at times.

1) senko, especially if you're more concerned about catching numbers rather than size

When I'm specifically targeting bass and mostly bass, this is what I use.

Otherwise I'm generally throwing something equally good at catching pike (spinnerbaits, cranks, and swims)

this year

senko easy to fish and catches lots of fish, especially skipping

Berkely Swim Shad on a 3/8oz Head

Rattletrap style Cranks

Spinnerbaits

Hollow Frogs

These have been my goto this year at least.

Plastic Worm (sometimes rigged Texas, sometimes weightless)

Plastic Senko type worm rigged Wacky (easily my most productive the last two summers)

Spinnerbaits

Topwater- Scum frog or Rebel Popper (depending on the surface weeds)

Although, lately I have come to realize that I almost always have the same things tied onto my poles so I'm going to attempt to broaden my horizons and purchased some swim baits to Jig-N-Pig and I'm going to buy the materials needed for drop shotting the depths for Bass.
