Fenwick Customer Service

I had a very good experience with Fenwick customer service recently. My HMG rod-- about $115 value-- broke while I was fishing. I was swinging a nice smallie in the boat, and I heard a small cracking sound. The next hook set it split/shattered/broke right in the middle of the rod. There was a five yr warranty so I gave them a call. I was instructed to send the rod, a letter, and a check for $9.95 for shipping. Ten days later the rod was in my boat. I bought the rod on a close out for $45 so I figured I got a good deal and would just buy a new one. I don't usually go through what I always thought would be the hassle of dealing with customer service. It saved me some money. I'm glad that I did. Hope the wind dies down tonight, and the bass are hungry for scum frogs when the kids hit the sack. Good luck everyone. Go Twins. Sam

Sometimes if you go to a dealer you won't have to give them the $9.95. Glad you got good service, it never hurts to ask!

Dang I should of sent mine HMG in earlier this year when I snapped it in 2 while casting. But I figured to much hassle and wait. Next time I guess. Glad you had luck getting a new one.

I've had a similar experience with Fenwick. There are two gals there that are just super nice but, more importantly, they get things done for you with minimal hassle. Love Fenwick!
