To all fellow anglers, my wife doesn't understand how I can visit one web site so many times through out the day and durring the course of a week? My only defense that I have to give her is, it is such an informative place to ask any questions a guy can think of and recieve a good answer, or at least a heck of a shot at it!! Just wanted to say thanks "to all" who have givin out the info and taken their best shot at what sometimes might not be their specialty or in other cases is for the replies I have gotten over the past months! Thanks again,"Wormburner", GOOD LUCK TO ALL! That's my story and I'm stickin to it! Two thumbs up for Fishing Minnesota.com and all who participate!!

Especially since "OPENER" is getting to be right around the corner, I'm sure the board will really start to light up with last minute tips or questions! "Is there a doctor in the house"? "TAKE TWO DAYS OF OPEN WATER FISHING AND CALL ME MONDAY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what I tell her, it's not like sitting in the tavern and literaly pizzing it away, at least now we can have an auction to get rid of it all,"boat, trolling motors,6-8 rods n reels and about $600.00 worth of tackle that I will probably only use half of LOL! Just good clean fun.

There was a couple of times that I couldn't get to this site from work. I was starting to go through withdrawl symptom. Ornery, cranky, irritalbe, impatient and depressed(my wife would say that is normal but she lies).

If this site ever goes down completely, I sure hope that there is some kinda treatment smile.gif

I got "hooked" on this site a couple of years ago, while looking for some advice on how to get my son into fly-fishing. Now he & I are both daily visitors. Sadly, we've only been to one FM event, but so far we've met some really nice people through this site.
Great job Rick... and all `yer lil helpers!!!

Well addicted is such a strong word.....

I wake up each morn and go to work,
and I try to be good..but I got this quirk.

I sit at my desk and start the machine,
that makes my brain begin to dream.

I surf the web for my daily fix,
but there aint a site as good as Rick's.

A post and a ponder and an occasional rhyme,
is how I prefer to spend my time.

So if you aint addicted to this fishin page,
then your job will get you in a ranting rage.

Problems arise from stress you see,
and if you're a postal worker..stay away from me. grin.gif

Alright, maybe I'm addicted.......but in good way. grin.gif

I fish.....Therefore I grovel.

I'm so addicted my wife bought me my own computer just so she could get some computer time to her self. Heck I even learned how to type. Keep up the good work Rick, and all moderators. To all the rest keep my addiction supplied. smile.gif

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
