Very impressive for Stratos. Im not surprised that Skeet stayed with Genmar but surprised he will be in a Stratos. I think I would rather still fish out of the 2 yr old champion!

Platinum Equity who bought that portion of Genmar chose not to continue the Champion Line, but instead, decided that Stratos is going to fill that need. The new Stratos will be built in the Ranger plant in Flippin Arkansas. The new model is supposed to be out in fall of 2010 which leads me to believe this has been in the works for a while and Skeet was onboard from the beginning. I agree there won't be a lot of difference between this Stratos and the old Champion.
