What do you think guys? Is Lyoto gonna take another close decision? I'll pick him to win again.

How about Kimbo and Matrione? Believe it or not, I'm picking Slice to stiffen him. Matriones head is always sticking out, like a turtle ready to bite something, jutting forward, just begging to get thumped. I wonder which fighter learned the most since they were on the Ultimate Fighter Series? I think Kimbo.

I didn't like him at first....thought he was older then what he claimed, but if he was in highschool in 1992, he would only be in his mid to late 30's now? He kinda grows on ya, doesn't seem to be to bad of a guy?

its gonna be a good fight i think machida wins, i think kimbo will win to he trains like a mad man he always wants to learn and just keep going. I think if he gets matt in some trouble he will crumble like he did on the show. Everyone always Kimbo as some thug but is a pretty laid back guy look at him on the show he just wanted to train fight and learn

I agree with you guys, kind of hard not to pull for Kimbo, really a nice guy. Matrione on the other hand, who doesn't want to see him get knocked out.

He sticks that turtle head out there and gives Slice a shot at it, thats exactly what will happen! Well, at least thats what I think will happen, I don't care for Matrione...thought he was lazy on the show.

I'm going with kimbo as well. His conditioning is much better, but more importantly, he's got alot more mental toughness. I think he'll win by KO, but won't be surprised if mitrione quits. Hopefully they'll match him up with a tough veteran in the next fight. I'm wondering if he could make 205? I think he was 212 in his last fight, the heavies are gigantic these days

He started late in the sport, he will have to make hay while the sun shines and he ain't no Brock Lesnar! If he fights at a lighter weight, he's gonna have to get alot quicker and he'll have to know alot more then just punching someone in the chops, or tripping them!

From the way he is built, and his age and lack of MA experience, I think his comming down would be a tough row to hoe for him? Just my opinion, but I think he will fight on the fringes for awhile like he is now and never really be a threat of any kind...he'll be a stepping stone prelim fighter, but hey, for him to come this far is quite a feat! I'd like to see him win though.

I'm pulling for Shogun and Kimbo to win their fights. I just don't like Machida at all.

I like Shogun, anyone who legs kicks 50% of the time has my vote. I also like Kimbo, and can't stand Koscheck.

Koschek...(Or however you spell it?)is a good thumper, but so is that Daly! I don't know about Dalys ground skills, but Koschek sure has the credentials if it goes to the ground! If it's a stand up, whoever lands first wins the fight.

I didn't like Koschek at first, but he kinda grew on me, same as Kimbo, Josh is an a-team fighter, you gotta give em that.

Either Shogun, or Lyoto, makes no difference to me, they are both pretty good fighters in their own styles.

Shogun will win this fight, then they will fight a 3rd time, and the winner of that fight will fight the winner of the rampage jackson - rashad evans fight. And dana white will laugh all the way to the bank

Yeah, I think that little experiment ended. I think some of the WEC fights we used to see for free are also going to PPV. Theres something called 'Bellafore' a type of tournement thats on each week now. The only names I recognized was Josh Neer and Roger Huerta.

Poor kimbo slice. Sure he got beat, but I'd give him 1 more chance at least. Let him drop to 205 and fight a keith jardine or chuck liddell, then make a decision on his future. I guarantee strikeforce was on the phone with him within 5 minutes of dana white saying he's done in the UFC! Same with paul daley...although he deserved to be kicked out!

Shows what I know, 1 for 3! Machida pulled off the KO and Daley and Kimbo lost. Mitriones fighting coach had Kimbo figured out, but who would of figured anyone would stand with Kimbo?

Your not alone JL, I had Lyoto,Kimbo and Koschek winning, I'm 1 for 3 also. Unless we see Kimbo in one of the other MMA formats, it's back to utube for him as Dana White cut him loose. Daly to for taking a cheap shot at Koschek...thats good, keep the sport clean, brutal but clean.

Hey, do any of you guys out there know why Roger Huerta, or Josh Neer aren't fighting in the UFC? Were'nt they being used enough, or what?

Didn't surprise me Machida lost, Rua is a bad mofo.

I woulda been surprised if Kimbo won. He is likeble but got into the game way to late and just cant hang.

I like Koschek and glad he won, Daly got what he deserved in the ring and out. He talked sooo much smack. Koschek is good but GSP is unreal, I just hope its a good fight when it happens.

Now that Machida lost the title, Anderson Silva needs to get up in there and take that belt too. Maybe he can find some competition in that weight class.

I was thinking the same thing about Anderson Silva. He would have both belts easily, and might find someone to give him a challenge in a fight.

Huerta just fought somewhat recently I'd thought? Don't know about Neer though?

Huerta doesn't look anything like he did a couple of years ago...I mean ability wise. Maybe it's okay if they fight in a different league, maybe they don't have UFC contracts for some reason, but I thought that both Huerta and Neer were UFC fighters? Maybe as opponents, they don't have to rely strictly on UFC fights and can go anywhere the money is and be called to fight when an opponent is needed?
