Towing a 2003 1750 Crestliner with a 2002 Trailblazer

Recommended Posts

I have a 1650 Crestliner Sport Angler, slightly smaller but similar to the fish hawk. I pull it with a 2005 Exploere v6 and have no problems at all, except for not the greatest mileage. If you keep your speeds reasonable, you should be able to tow it without any problems.

Thanks fasternu, I had an Alumacraft Lunker V16 LTD which was about 16ft 9in long and i got about 17mpg but that with keeping the speed under 60.

I will just have to hook up to it and tow it around to see if I have the power to do it before I buy it.

I have 05 TB and it pulls an 18' alum boat with 150 just fine. I don't tow with it much though, I have half ton I use for it most of the time. But it works. You just need to go slower with the TB as braking is more an issue than power - it has power to get it going just fine, just need room to stop it smile

Good luck.
