Draft Layout

What does everyone think of ESPN televising the 1st round on thursday, 2nd and 3rd rounds friday, then the rest on saturday? I personally think the layout sucks!!! I really hope they go back to the way it used to be next year. Watching the draft all day long on saturday and sunday is the way it should be!

I don't like the Thursday night start. If they continue with it I say Friday night and end it on Sunday. I think they have way too much information scrolling on the screen. You can look at three different spots that are repetitive. Some of the analysts get obnoxious. Berman is wearing thin on me.

I'm not so excited about ESPNs self proclaimed draft guru Kiper either.

Gruden and Jackson are the guys I listen to. Young is OK.

I like the new format.

ESPNs coverage leaves a lot to be desired though. Especially after round one. Kiper and Berman like to hear themselves talk, the analysis is lacking big time with those two and then it's commercial after commercial after commercial.

I do like it when Gruden gives Kiper the Chuckie looks when Kiper's talking over his head.

Look at Kiper's track record and you'll notice that he's been wrong in so many ways over the years that it's not even funny. How has this guy kept a job with ESPN?

He's very good at reciting about 500 player profile stats and workout #'s from memory...something not alot of other people would care to do. He's branded his name together with the NFL draft and they kind of just go hand-in -hand now.

I think he does a decent job but it is funny to watch the looks on some of the other analysts faces when he disagrees with a teams pick.

I think the rating went up like 27% so no chance they move it back to a Sat/Sunday like it used to be.

In my opinion, there are too many guys on their set. It should be Berman, Chuckie, TJ and Kiper. Young doesn't need to be there and he doesn't contribute anything except that they should draft this guy because he is left handed or this guy because he reminds him of Jerry Rice... etc.. etc..

Berman talks a lot because he HAS TO... it is his job to fill the empty space and transition it on to the next guy.... simple as that.

I like Kiper, but I will say he is going to have to stay on top of his game because with all of the different guys breaking down players and such now, he isn't the only show in town and he hasn't done the best lately with his projections... but as far as him being wrong, the draft is about 75% failure even for the teams, so that isn't a huge issue...

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
