I Won a Free Hunt!!!!

Registered for a free turkey hunt in Kansas at the Northwest Sport Show a couple weeks ago. Got an email from the guy yesterday. I WON! The hunt is 4 nights, 3 days, semi-guided, everything included except the trip down and license. He's near Abilene, KS. The birds are mostly Rios with some Easterns and hybrids mixed in. He specializes in archery (fine with me) but welcomes firearms as well. Two bird limit.

Told him I wasn't sure if I could make the time this spring on such short notice, so he said "Come next year, I'll honor it." How cool is that?

So now it's not enough I'm getting stoked for this spring's hunt but I've already got next spring to look forward too.
