Jeremy airjer W
The more I don't like this guy!Nice call by NASCAR to pull Edwards off the track! When you can see a guys gloves turn into the car in front of him, well.........that's just uncalled for!

candiru
I would guess that he could be held criminaly liable if someone was seriously hurt in something like this. Doing this at 180-190 Mph just to wreck someone is not good.
LMITOUT
He's a real piece of....work.The guy needs to see a psychiatrist or something. He's definitely missing a few marbles up there. Maybe the 'roids shrunk his brain too.
bassNspear
cant agree more dan. For one, he was how many laps behind, and then take someone out thats in 5th place. What a joke!
buckx37x
Yea not good he may have been p.o. about earlier, but c,mon you think a little.
slipbobbin
But what Denny Did year year was fine. Carl didnt do anything different. Has nothing to do if he was on the lead lap or many down. They havent been able to race since Brad came to the series, so why would it change now. Tell me one thing, Sr. did it for 20+ years but now in this sponser parade we call racing you cant do that now.
GatorBait
Paybacks are all fine and dandy when the time is right. Wrecking a 5th place car when your 160+ laps behind and doing it at 180 mph is simply stupid. And look at the result. Brad's lucky he made it out of that one. Carl should have reviewed brad's incident earlier on in the race during his down time and been able to see that he did all he could to allow him some space. It's just stupid that Carl is always the 1st one to cry wolf about people wrecking and darn near killing someone, but it's all good when he does it. He showed no remorse in his interview. Oh well, what do ya do.
bassNspear
carl did watch what happend, and said to the reporter that it was his fault, and not the 12 Car
slipbobbin
You know nobody would give a d^%# if Brad didnt go into the fence. Carl didnt do that, this pos they call a racecar did.
Jeremy airjer W
Agreed, paybacks on a top five car when your 150+ down is just dirty racing. Paybacks when your fighting for a top ten position on the last lap.....well that just plain racing!
slipbobbin
Regardless if it was right or wrong and what lap your on or arnt on he got his point across.

Oh well, what do ya do. Agreed 110% After what I saw Cousin Carl pull against his own team member Kenseth a couple years ago... I knew he was a butt head and that "nice guy" image and all was a load of *rap! You can you just see how two faced this guy is, just look at the interview after he got wrecked by the 12. Then he goes out and takes out a that 5th place car (Brad K.) with only a few laps left! I'm all for pay back and all but, save it for the short tracks or for someone who actually went out of his way to wreck you. Watch out Carl your day will come!! Jeremy airjer W
And his point was he is perfectly capable of purposely wrecking a guy he isn't even racing with. I think he has opened up a can of worms with this one. I have always thought and seen that the guys who are many laps down and making laps to get a couple of points have more often than not moved out of the way of guys that are racing for position. He's made enough laps to make better decisions than he did today. At least he could have worn black gloves!

Sorry, your way off Edwards defender. The #12 was in 5th with only a few laps left and second he didn't try to wreck Edwards. Carl even said that it didn't look to be malicious in his interview... Just goes to show how much of a winner the old #99 driver is.
slipbobbin
Should have known what was to come, all u had to do was listen to the interview. Im not an Edwards supporter but am tired of if your so and so its fine and then somebody else does something people want to b$$ch about it. I just want to know how many of the people that sit here an punch their keyboard have actually been behind the wheel in any circumstance like this and to see what you would do in the heat of the moment. Get over it, BK has had it comming since he has been in the series.
&JAG
Heat of the moment? He was out of his 99 car for over two hours and 156 laps down. If he can't calm down in that amount of time he needs to go see Kyle Busch's therapists, it seemed to help him a little.
slipbobbin
Hate to tell ya but it wont be the last time poor little BK will be wrecked or he will wreck somebody. Goin to be a long year if people are goin to get bent out of shape on week 4. If they didnt have a history on the track nobody would care. would be chaulked up to racing and payback. harvey lee
Regardless if it was right or wrong and what lap your on or arnt on he got his point across. And come Tuesday NASCAR will get their point across all the more. The guy has a rock for a brian. He has done to to a few others also. slipbobbin
Oh yea Brad has never wrecked anybody has he?????????? Come on Harvey U see that stuff everyweek In your backyard and jus look what it does to guyz when racing is supposed to be fun.
LMITOUT
I don't know that anybody is arguing the payback, but rather the manner in which it was done. Paybacks happen all the time but there is a time and a place for it. Doing it at 180+ mph isn't one of them, nor is doing it when you're 150+ laps down and the other guy is running in the top 10. Save it for another day. There are plenty of short tracks coming up on the schedule where you can get your point across without trying to kill the guy. The question is: was it Kesolowski's fault in the first place and deserving of such a payback? If you watch the replay he did nothing wrong and Edwards is the one that came down on him. Kesolowski said he let off to let him in but it goes back to the he said/she said thing and who knows if he did or not. Still, it happens every race and Edwards needs to get over himself and use his pea-sized brain a little.
slipbobbin
And we are supposed to beleive he let off because he said he did????? If it wasnt for the WING on the car Edwards would have dumped him BK would have back it into the fence. End of story.
LMITOUT
OK, even if he didn't let off Edwards should have expected a tap for pulling down right on BK's front bumper. They're running 2x2 through the corner without much room to spare. BK can't just slam on the brakes and wave him in to merge. Edwards was driving over his talent level and he's done that more often than not, expecting that others will just back down or move aside to let him come through.Wing or not, you can't be dumping people at 180 mph and expect them to just harmlessly spin around a few times. After it was all said and done Edwards was preaching respect to the reporter in the post race interview, but I think he just lost a ton of it from the rest of the garage after that little stunt, regardless of BK's popularity amongst the rest of the drivers. slipbobbin
But guess what on lap 46 if he would have used his head instead of tryn to win it there he would have gotten his 5th place finsh instead of landing on his better side. Once BK realizes to ride for awhile He will be better off. Now there is 2 drivers that have been at the pay window and im sure there is more.
