Gun saftey classes?

Does anyone know of any Youth Gun Saftey Classes that are scheduled near St. Cloud. I check the DNR HSOforum all the time and there are none close to St.Cloud.

Many times the local conservation officer is in tune with that.

Do you have a gander in st cloud? check there they offer several classes a fear. also try the v.f.w or legion.

Classes are not always listd with the DNR, but its a good place to look. Classes are planned and scheduled by the person or team of instructors, not the DNR. They are scheduled throughout the year, but of course they show up more during the summer preceeding the hunting season

Contact the DNR at 1-888-MINN-DNR and ask for a list of FAS Instructors in your area. That will be your best bet for finding a course.

Check with Gander Mt or other stores like that.

I would also check with the area sportsmen clubs, I know ours here in the SW metro host one as well as the Deer Hunters Assoc. and other groups like that.

I finally signed my 11 yo up for a class in Bowlus, it is 20 miles away, 6-7 times to drive there. It's also my home town, so I will know people there. All the classes I found in St. Cloud area we had conflics with.
