any one ever fish this lake or flowage--over by county rd F I beleive it is?? just wondering whats out there??

Shhhhh, it's supposed to be a secret. Mostly there's a bunch of snake northers in there, but there are some walleye (not like years past) and some really big crappies (if you can find them). Most fish it for the gills, and they can be very nice.

It's also a pretty decent bass lake with some big smallies thrown in for good measure.

It's proximity to Happs Landing may be it's best asset.

Went out yesterday and caught a couple small northerns. Missed more of them than normal. They were biting kind of light I think.

Some guys get 'em. The indians spear it hard. The lake is mostly shallow and weed choked, hard to fish in the summer. Early may be your best bet, but if it's walleye you're after, Yellow is only 5 minutes away and is 100 times the lake this is.

yeah--I have fished Yellow a few time--we have cabin and land over by Ham lake--thanks for info--nice to know-so dont waste too much time!! lol

I was out there today and it was sloooooooow. I was seeing a few on the flasher and managed to catch 2 bluegills in 5 hours. I still think it's a few weeks too early.
