Bowfin
I guess we saw why the Packers blocked Favre from coming to the Vikings last year. They were not being over paranoid. Their worst fears were realized this year when Farve lead the Vikings to 2 wins against them, won the the NFC North and lead the Vikings to the NFC championship game. SledNeck
and a better season than Erin Rodgers
zepman
The Packers had to make a move or they would have lost Rogers...it paid off just fine. As much as they hate to see Favre make a run this year with the Vikes, they can be comforted by the fact that they have their q-back for the next ten or so years. If Favre and the Vikes do make it to the Superbowl, I bet the whole state of Wisconsin is going to turn green ...except Foss!!
JeffB
Its a good thing for the Packers that Rodgers had a good year or it would really burn. Can you imagine if he would have put up Cutlers numbers.
Steve Foss
If Favre and the Vikes do make it to the Superbowl, I bet the whole state of Wisconsin is going to turn green ...except Foss!! You can't "turn" green if you're green already. Being a Packer Irishman, I'm green twice right out of the shute. You all can make yourselves feel better by trying to jab at the Pack this year. I get it for sure. But Vikes fans who jibber jabber at this point in the season about how they beat the Pack twice this year should shut up about that and jibber jabber about how their team is going to win the Super Bowl. I mean, really, which is more important, beating the Pack twice or winning a Super Bowl? Some of you people just don't get it. Well, having never won the Biggest Game, I guess it's no surprise that you have an inferiority complex so large that you talk about beating the Pack instead of winning the S.B. It's like you are already making excuses for losing. Keep your eyes on the prize, Vikes. And the prize is ahead of you, not behind you. Shut up and win the Big One and you'll have bragging rights for a long time!
harvey lee
The SB is a considerable larger win than beating the slackers.Anyone could beat the Pack.
SledNeck
IMO the season was a success. Going to Lambeau and watching Favre stick it to the packers and packers fans was one of the highlights of my life for sure.

Anyways, good luck on the quest. For Brett's sake, and Brett's sake's alone, the vikes have me cheering for 'em. Good luck!
SledNeck
That would have been awesome Sled!! It was a great experience for sure. It lived up to all of the hype. Lambeau is a nice place to watch football and the weather was perfect.I was a guest of packer fans and got to tailgate with a great bunch of guys at one of their houses 2 blocks from Lambeau. I took alot of ribbing before the game, but after it was like a funeral!
DHanson
Beating the packers twice this year was priceless. It has been a good year no matter what happens. Honestly, I don't really care if they win it all or not. Obviously, I wouldn't mind if they did though. What's a packer anyway? Strange Sconnies over there.
