Fish house fan solutions?

So, I had this bright idea to use 2 personal coleman fans that I found on clearance for moving heat around the shack this year, my first year with a perm.

Long story short, they were $1 and I thought I had a deal. Took them 1 and 3 hours to stop working respectively. How's that go again? "You get what you pay for" - I guess this is more than a $2 solution, hah.

It's a 4 x 8 shack. The Big buddy is nice for heat, but the floor gets cold. I couldn't convince my co-builders to insulate it so I NEED to move this air from the top...it's uncomfortable as well.

I've heard about computer fans? Seems like a lot of labor and coin as opposed to battery operated ones? What is the best route to go here for the rest of the year?

help! frown

i've got a computer fan i carry for the portables, Made a little hanger that the fan sits in with a hook on the top to hang from. ran about 6ft of speaker wire with a couple alligator clips on it. hook that to a spare battery i carry with. we use it in my buddy's 4x8 portable, used it in my new team wild 3man last weekend for the first time, works great. Even used it in my buddy's 8x16 to keep the air moving. we use buddy heaters as well in the portables along with a sunflower depending on which house we are in but the fan was a great addition! Don't leave home without it now.

I've got a computer fan I use in my portable 2 man from Ax-Man. They move quite a bit of air and will last for days. I like having the ability to move them for if I wanna push air in/out or dry off gloves etc. Cheap and effective.
